Kuno Wildlife
Spot the elusive leopard in its natural habitat.
Leopards have long shared Kuno's forests and rocky outcrops, well before the cheetah reintroduction brought the park wider attention.
They're more elusive than cheetahs — leopards favour denser cover and are often more active at dawn, dusk and night — so sightings depend heavily on timing, terrain and a bit of luck.
Kuno is one of the few Indian landscapes where cheetah and leopard territory genuinely overlap, which is part of what makes its carnivore ecology distinctive.
Prefers denser forest cover and rocky terrain over open grassland
Most active around dawn, dusk and after dark
Shares territory with Kuno's reintroduced cheetah population
